The basin of Merano and the surrounding mountain ranges and valleys offer a diverse, fascinating network of cycling trails. The Val Venosta tour leads you past fields, forests, villages and fruit plantations. In the Passiria valley, you can stop over at national hero Andreas Hofer’s birthplace. Another extremely popular route is the one from Merano to Bolzano which offers 33 km of the most beautiful cycling tracks in South Tyrol.
